Geeee Damien, you beat me to it.

Yep, the beauty industry is definitely having a seriously large impact.

But there is some hope there. There is one group that has created a country-wide process to recycle all the 'used' beauty products (containers, tubes, cases and even hair) to do a better job of recycling than just sending it all to the landfill... (I want to say the company is called GLO but not sure...)

But companies like Nordstrom, Ulta, Terracycle and others have started stepping up to help with this.
