Thanks Trump — Wiping Out Red States by Weather via Bad Efforts & Wasteful Spending

What an incompetent leader…. This appears to be what the current president in the Oval Office plans to do — intentionally or unintentionally.

This ludicrous individual will cause disastrous ruin to occur, primarily in red states as he makes cuts to NOAA climate research and close all weather & climate labs.

But you say — “Do not be so melodramatic”!

Hmmmm….. Here’s the thing, follow me a bit and use your logical thinking capabilities.

Cutting out NOAA activities will reduce the predictive capabilities of storms that will hit this country down the road. Mainly, it will affect red GOP states — the most. States such as:

• Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee…. storms coming in from the Gulf of Mexico, and oh yeah, the little 12-mile sliver of water rights called Gulf of America (for 12 nautical miles out).

Also, let us not forget about:

• Nebraska, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri & S. Carolina
• other states likely to be hammered as well, like California due to being on the coast as it is, taking the brunt of storms coming to the mainland.
• And of course, Hawaii and Puerto Rico as they sit out in the open oceans.

These are the states and territory mostly affected by hurricanes & tornadoes & flooding.

But, what is the harm in all of the hullaballoo of cutting out staff, funding and capabilities of NOAA eh? After these cuts, when storms (that would have been predicted) occur, it will ONLY be what, several hundred thousand people affected from time to time.

That will be no big deal — as they (members of the GOP) say, ‘Suck it up and get over it. It will only be short-term events.’
No power or water or even access to their homes and livelihoods for a few weeks (months)… No problem.

What a winning administration we have…

So brilliant and thoughtful, looking to save this country from the evils of progress and democracy. Oh, and to save Trillions of dollars. No, wait — Billions of dollars…
Meanwhile, the FBI’s Deputy Director Bonkers, sorry — BONGINO is causing the agency to spend millions of dollars on his own 24 HOUR PER DAY personal security detail that no other Dep. Director ever had.
As they say in commercials — BUT WAIT. Then there is this new Dep. Secretary of the Dept of Labor, Keith E. Sonderling, HE TOO is having the Dept of Labor put together a personal security detail.

Keep in mind, while the orange clown is cutting agencies to “save money”, these individuals are spending MORE money. NEEDLESSLY…!

The swamp in DC is not yet drained completely, so it is all cool. Right? To spend more money in absolutely asinine and ludicrous areas than the previous administrations.

Wait, there’s more. We have Burgum, the current secretary of the Interior. This man wants his staff (appointees) to make ‘FRESH’ baked (and warm — MUST BE WARM) cookies and with a specific texture (or bake a new batch) — FOR HIM… Or act as servers at lunch/dinner functions…
Are you kidding me you ask…? Nope, very true — please do your own digging on this guy. Wait, wait — not done with Burgum yet. He ALSO has the department to deliver him a National Park Service helicopter for ‘personal travel’… Not clear how many times this has occurred though.

Oooohhhhh, lastly, another small thing — more funding cuts for multiple small budgets:

• school libraries,
• museums and even the
• National History contest (which only costs about $135,000 per year, which I donated to because of the cut)…

So, we have a president who came to D.C. and planned to drain the swamp (again), make DC better and cutting out unnecessary agencies (NIH, CDC, USAID, DoEd., NOAA departments, etc.) to improve efficiencies… Has that happened? Will it happen? The answer of course is no.

All that is happening is chaos with many wealthy individuals digging into a pot of gold for themselves, leaving the regular American citizens to suffer as they are displaced from work… because they were “underperformers” as the reason for their firings…

There is a solution to all of the above.

GET YOUR HINNIE out the door and vote in all the city, state and federal elections held between now and through the mid-terms in 2026. Vote out the individuals who failed to stand up to this orange impersonation of an American president and vote in people who are smarter, more considerate of the people in this country and of course — HAS MORE BACKBONE to stand up to this unqualified presidential entity…

So we can start the process to recover and restore what has been lost. It will take some time but it has to start now. Of course, come the 2028 election, please vote for a better government than what happened in 2024. This is bigger than just one individual (you), this is for all of us. Think about the future, NOT just right now.

There is no honor, dignity, ethics or a solid moral compass (or character) in this current president. This individual has caused GLOBAL harm for American standing and solidarity. Other countries ‘may’ cast us adrift and turn their back on us. Look at Myanmar and their earthquake disaster — what did our president do? Pledge $2 million…. then raised it to $9 million — but never followed through with that.
And emergency/disaster personnel that America normally sends to countries that needs assistance — what did this administration do…? NOTHING!!! As Rubio stated, other countries need to stand up for themselves and NOT count on America to always be there.

THIS DEPLORABLE image is not the America many of us desire…
