Yep, you’ve hit it spot on Shannon.

There are many men like around the globe (and worse in other parts of the globe) who are just, well, ‘assholes’ — they cannot seem to get it through their heads about what women have to contend with EVERY SINGLE DAY! And make that woman (or women) an equal player on the field of every day life — AND that they will be equal partners.

And for those guys who care, understand and empathize — those guys are affected because women will look at them the same as the assholes until they prove they are not like those assholes. That is, if they ever get a chance because the woman in question will keep that good guy at arms’ length due to her wariness of men overall.

All I can say to men is, keep trying to be good and show you do care and empathize — just keep trying (without making a production of it), it will eventually shine through and above the crap of the assholes who have or may have ruined it for the good guys. Prove it.
